"Education" is not (only) "training." Education in a broader sense rather includes first of all the ability to understand and recognize ("to picture something"), but then also to think beyond the known and existing by means of the right questions. Education understood in this way contributes to the development of one's own power of judgment and ultimately to the possibility of a meaningful, successful life.

Dr.phil. Cornelia Mooslechner-Brüll studied history, political science and philosophical practice. She is an academic philosophical practitioner with her own practice (www.philoskop.org) and lecturer in philosophy, political science and cultural theory at various universities. She is a board member of the International Society for Philosophical Practice (IGPP), chair of the board of the Circle of Academic Philosophical Practitioners (KAPP), member of the Society for Applied Philosophy (GAP) and co-founder of the Institute for Philosophical Practice and Culture of Care (IPPS).
