Aesthetic education - art projects by students of the KPH Vienna/Krems for the Symposium Dürnstein

Since 2014, students of the KPH Vienna/Krems have been participating in the Dürnstein Symposium with aesthetic commentaries. In small exhibitions, bulky concepts such as utopia, work, democracy ... were transformed into a perceptible "something". For the future educators, the topics of the symposium are instructive fields of action that open up the discussion of current, socially relevant issues and offer the opportunity to promote skills for self-confident, solidary thinking and creative action.

How the work on the projects has developed into an exciting process for the participants and why aesthetic education does not fit into the current understanding of education is what this lecture wants to illuminate from an individual perspective.
